U.S. Marine Corps Gunnery Sgt. Leonel Saucedo, platoon sergeant, and Cpl. Samuel Gusman jr, radio operator, with the 3d Littoral Combat Team, 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division communicate at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Oct. 25, 2022. 3d LCT established a command and control node to provide command and control of expeditionary advanced bases dispersed across the island of Oahu. Bougainville II is a field exercise that allows the MLR and its subordinate units to conduct expeditionary advanced base operations across the island of Oahu.
