221030-N-TR763-1084 WESTERN PACIFIC OCEAN (Oct. 30, 2022) – Naval Aircrewman (Helicopter) 2nd Class Scott Linton, from Warner Robins, Georgia, a Search and Rescue (SAR) swimmer, assigned to Helicopter Sea Combat Squadron (HSC) 23 aboard amphibious assault carrier USS Tripoli (LHA 7) jumps into the Pacific Ocean prior to a swim call Oct. 30, 2022. Tripoli is operating in the U.S. 7th Fleet area of operations to enhance interoperability with allies and partners and serve as a ready response force to defend peace and maintain stability in the Indo-Pacific region.
