U.S. Marines with Marine Corps Base Quantico’s Ceremonial Platoon, raise the U.S. flag for the national anthem before the start of the Marine Corps Marathon 10K at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., Oct. 30, 2022. The MCM10K is hosted the same day as the 47th Marine Corps Marathon and is known as 'the best marathon for beginners,' encouraging runners of all levels.
