U.S. Congressman Barry Moore, representative, 2nd district of Alabama, and his team toured the Lyster Army Health Clinic pharmacy area, where they were able to speak with beneficiaries regarding their experiences concerning pharmacy wait times following the MHS GENESIS transition. Thomas and Betty Jackson (pictured center) shared their thoughts on pharmacy services with Congressman Moore (left) and Bill Harris, District Director (right). Following a recent pharmacy safety stand-down, the pharmacy team worked extensively to complete process improvements to reduce wait times. One of the notable updates was the return to same day pick up for new prescriptions. To learn more about pharmacy updates and operations, visit https://lyster.tricare.mil/Health-Services/Pharmacy.
