U.S. Marines with 3d Marine Littoral Regiment, 3d Marine Division, load barbed wire into a 7-ton during exercise Bougainville II at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Nov. 3, 2022. To adapt to developing battlefield conditions, Alpha command conducted battle turnover and displaced. Bougainville II is a field exercise that allows the MLR and its subordinate units to conduct expeditionary advanced base operations across the island of Oahu.
