U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Andrea (Andre) Callis, initial entry team lead, along with Pfc. Guametric Knight assist Pfc. Byron Madden, from 63rd Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Company, 48th Chemical Brigade in donning his decontamination suit, during Exercise Vista Forge, Nov. 3 in Atlanta. Military units comprising the Defense Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Response Force (DCRF) participate in this long-planned, annual exercise to ensure the Department of Defense’s ability to coordinate with local, state, and other federal agencies to save lives and mitigate human suffering during a catastrophic incident through urban search and rescue, and mass casualty decontamination. The soldiers are assigned to 63rd Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Company from Fort Campbell, Kentucky.
