Spc. Jillian Carey, a Soldier assigned to Bravo Company 229th Brigade Engineer Battalion, 116th Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 29th Infantry Division, operates the Soldier-Borne Sensor (SBS) via a Nett Warrior end user device during a Soldier Touch Point (STP) event in Fredericksburg, Virginia Nov. 1. The STP was designed to evaluate two SBS Phase II systems, baseline the systems and gain Soldier feedback based on operational scenarios and suitability when employed by infantry conducting individual and collective tasks. The SBS provides units with near real-time video, increased situational awareness, and reduced risk of detection, while allowing units to detect personnel and targets.
