U.S. Army Pfc. Brian Kelly, with the 437th Military Police Battalion, competes in the 73rd Troop Command’s Best Warrior Competition at Camp James A. Garfield Joint Military Training Center in Ravenna, Ohio, Nov. 5, 2022. “I joined the Ohio Army National Guard because when I was young, I was adopted from Bogota Columbia, and I just wanted to give back to the country that gave me the life I have today,” Kelly said. “I am competing in the Best Warrior Competition because my team leader competed last year and did really well, so I wanted to follow in his footsteps and to try it myself.
