U.S. Air Force Tech Sgt. Jessica Saft, an independent duty medical technician assigned to the Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency’s (DPAA) Recover Team, demonstrates how to apply a tunicate during a recovery mission in Kham district, Xiengkhoang Province on Sept. 22, 2022. This simulated medical evacuation is put in place to ensure proper medical procedures are executed in case of a real emergency during the mission.
