David Shevchik, Jr., former wing commander of the 158th Fighter Wing, flies for the last time as a fighter pilot in an F-35A Lightning II for his fini flight, at the Vermont Air National Guard Base, South Burlington, Vermont, Nov. 6, 2022. Shevchik served as the wing commander for over two years for the Vermont Air National Guard and is tradition for pilots to be recognized on their final flight in their military career.
