Scott Woodward, deputy commanding officer, U.S. Army Combined Arms Center – Training, examines the features of the Reconfigurable Virtual Collective Trainer - Aviation (RVCT-A) for the Army’s Apache helicopter platform during a tour and brief on programs sponsored by the Army’s Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training and Instrumentation (PEO STRI) in Orlando, Fla., Nov. 2-3. The two-day visit allowed Woodward to see first-hand how PEO STRI and the Army’s Synthetic Training Environment Cross Functional Team are working together to increase readiness while helping to modernize training and build the Army of 2030.
