220401-N-MU154-0037 PHILADELPHIA (Nov. 8, 2022) Sailors assigned to Naval Support Activity Philadelphia's Funeral Honors Detail transfer the remains of Radioman 3rd Class Charles A. Montgomery from an aircraft into a hearse bound for his final resting place. Montgomery, 21, of Folcroft, Pennsylvania, was killed in the attack on Pearl Harbor while aboard (BB-37) USS Oklahoma, Dec. 7, 1941. Montgomerys remains were recovered between 1941 and 1944, but were unable to be identified until March 3, 2021. (U.S. Navy photo by Mass Communication Specialist 2nd Class Dale D.
