Bill Murray, a Volunteer Docent at the Hampton Roads Naval Museum, provides some meaningful interpretation during a tour of their gallery spaces to visitors from the Southeastern Virginia Training Center on November 2, 2022. Murray, who is also a U.S. Navy Veteran, is part of the museum’s robust volunteer corps who help visitors connect with naval history. The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is located on the second level of the Nauticus campus in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia. It is one of ten U.S. Navy museums within the Naval History and Heritage Command and is free to visit. (US Navy Photo by Max Lonzanida/Released).
