A U.S. Air Force 44th Fighter Squadron F-15C Eagle approaches a 909th Air Refueling Squadron KC-135 Stratotanker to conduct aerial refueling over South Korea, Nov. 4, 2022. Kadena's F-15's were the first operational Eagles outfitted with an active electronically-scanned array radar, and the Legion Pod, the first infrared search-and-track system compatible with the aircraft.
