U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 377th Parachute Field Artillery Regiment, 2nd Infantry Brigade Combat Team (Airborne), 11th Airborne Division, “Arctic Angels,” jump from a Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules during airborne training over Malemute Drop Zone, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Nov. 5, 2022. Marine Corps aviators assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 234 out of Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base Fort Worth, Texas supported the airborne training. The 2/11 IBCT (A) is the only airborne infantry brigade combat team in the Arctic and Pacific theaters, providing the combatant commander with the unique capability to project an expeditionary force by air.
