NAVAL SUPPORT ACTIVITY BAHRAIN (November 09, 2022) - Maj. Tracey Holtshirley, the Headquarter Company, Naval Amphibious Task Force 51/5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade (TF 51/5) Commanding Officer, is given a slice of cake as the eldest Marine during the 247th Marine Corps Birthday cake cutting ceremony aboard Naval Support Activity, Bahrain, Nov. 9. Marines and sailors assigned to TF 51/5, Fleet Anti-terrorism Security Team Central Command, and Marine Corps Forces Central Command participated in the annual cake cutting ceremony, a long-standing tradition in celebrating the birth date of the United States Marine Corps. TF 51/5 responds to crises and contingencies; coordinates, plans, and executes operations; conducts theater security cooperation; and advances emerging Naval concepts at sea, from the sea, and ashore in order to support U.S. Central Command, 5th Fleet, and Marine Corps Forces Central Command theater objectives.
