The Future Reflects
A child stencils a name from a panel of thousands displayed on the Wall That Heals, a three-quarter scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., Oct. 28, 2022, in Anahuac, Texas. At 350 feet long, and with its largest panel 7.5 feet high, this synthetic granite structure bears the names of the 58,281 men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in Vietnam. More than 4,500 people visited the memorial while on display in Anahuac. The traveling exhibit will appear in 29 communities throughout the country this year.
