JOINT BASE LANGLEY-EUSTIS, Va. – U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Adam Kangeiser, an Army mariner, safely guides a bulldozer off Landing Craft Utility 2031 at JBLE-Eustis, Virginia, Nov. 1, 2022. The Army vessel carried large U.S. Navy construction equipment across the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, from Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek – Fort Story up the James River to Fort Eustis. The move is part of the decommissioning of ACB 2, during which most of the battalion’s equipment is being shipped to ACB 1, a battalion based in San Diego, California.
