Gifts packaged for children in remote communities across Alaska are staged at the Salvation Army warehouse in Anchorage, Nov. 10, 2022, before transportation by the 176th Logistics Readiness Squadron to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Operation Santa Claus is the AKNG’s yearly community relations and support program that provides gifts to children in communities across the state.
