General Sir Timothy Radford, the Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, is piped aboard the first-in-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford during the Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) Commander's Conference, Nov. 16, 2022. Supreme Allied Commander Europe (SACEUR) Commander's Conference attendees and guests received a carrier strike group capabilities brief and tour aboard Ford as the culmination event of a two-day SACEUR Commander's Conference in Portsmouth, U.K. The Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group (GRFCSG) is deployed in the Atlantic Ocean, conducting training and operations alongside NATO Allies and partners to enhance integration for future operations and demonstrate the U.S. Navy's commitment to a peaceful, stable and conflict-free Atlantic region.
