Personnel from the 673d Civil Engineer Group participate in a Tactical Combat Casualty Care training scenario during Exercise Polar Force 23-2 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska, Nov. 16, 2022. Readiness exercises like Polar Force allow service members to train in a simulated contested environment, with this exercise testing a member’s ability to survive and operate. Due to supply-chain issues, the 673d Medical Group worked with the Arctic Spark Innovation Lab to develop a 3-D printed simulated nerve-agent antidote auto-injector training aid in support of overall medical readiness training for service members.
