U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Matthew Brigadier, the adjutant of 5th Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, III Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, reads Gen. John Lejuene’s birthday message during 5th ANGLICO’s annual Marine Corps Birthday Ball in Onna, Okinawa, Nov. 3, 2022. The birthday ball is held annually in units across the Marine Corps to celebrate the founding of the Corps in 1775. The ceremony includes reading of the birthday message from the commandant and a cake cutting ceremony with the oldest and youngest Marines present.
