Rear Adm. Pete Garvin, commander, Naval Education and Training Command, presents a Navy and
Marine Corps Achievement Medal (NAM) to Master-at-Arms 2nd Class Dylan Pilkington, from Arvada,
Colorado, assigned to Naval Air Station (NAS) Pensacola’s security department, onboard NAS Pensacola,
Nov. 16, 2022. Pilkington was awarded a NAM and challenge coin for providing lifesaving medical
attention to a visitor in distress during the Blue Angel’s homecoming show, Nov. 12, 2022. NETC’s
mission is to recruit, train and deliver those who serve our nation, taking them from street-to-fleet by
