Lt Col. Sherri Daye, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, One Health Branch, director speaks with scientists and guests at a One Health symposium, Oct 5. She talked about how the interaction between people, animal and the environment led to existing, new, or emerging zoonotic diseases at the Smithsonian Museum Support Center. WRAIR and Smithsonian scientists, in partnership with U.S. Army Public Health Center, held a One Health symposium at the Smithsonian Museum Support Center to identify opportunities where the two institutions can collaborate. One health is the concept that human, animal, and environmental health are all inextricably related.
