A U.S. Marine Corps CH-53E Super Stallion helicopter assigned to the 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing transports U.S. Marines with Maritime Special Purpose Force, 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) during a Fast Rope Masters course at Stone Bay, on Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Nov. 17, 2022. This training prepares service members for helicopter-borne insertion and extraction operations and certifies them to oversee rope operations with their respective units. The Fast Rope Masters course is one of several Expeditionary Operations Training Group (EOTG) taught courses that Marines and Sailors of the MEU receive prior to deployment.
