U.S. Army Lt. Col. Carlos Nunez, deputy commander, and Command Sgt. Maj. Denise Demps, 642nd Regional Support Group, cases the unit colors during a Transfer of Responsibility ceremony at Fort Hood, Texas, Nov. 18, 2022. The Reserve unit, based in Decatur, Ga., turned over the duties of the Mobilization Support Brigade to the 561st Regional Support Group. The 642nd RSG’s commander is Col. Christian Neary, who was unable to attend the ceremony because of an injury the previous evening.
