PHILIPPINE SEA (Nov. 11, 2022) – Military Sealift Command's Henry J. Kaiser class underway replenishment oiler USNS Rappahannock (T-AO 204), assigned to Task Force 73, resupplies the Royal Canadian Navy’s Halifax class frigate HMCS Winnipeg (FFH 338) in the Philippine Sea, during the Keen Sword exercise on Nov. 11. Keen Sword is a biennial, joint and bilateral field-training exercise involving U.S. military and Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force personnel, designed to increase readiness and interoperability while strengthening the ironclad Japan-U.S. alliance. Commander, Logistics Group Western Pacific/Task Force 73 is the U.S. Navy's premiere maritime mobile logistics organization which supports the Seventh Fleet area of operations. logistically supplies the U.S. Navy's deployed surface units and aircraft
carriers in the Western Pacific along with regional allies and partners, in
