A U.S. Marine Corps color guard with 2d Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2d Marine Division, prepare to present the colors during a wreath-laying ceremony at Highland Memorial Cemetery in Knoxville, Tennessee, Nov. 19, 2022. This ceremony commemorates the 79th anniversary of the American assault on the Tarawa Atoll during World War II and honors Medal of Honor recipient, 1st Lt. Alexander Bonnyman.
