Fairbanks KTVF-11 interviews Andrea Finch of the Salvation Army Fairbanks Corps Community Center during Operation Santa in Minto, Alaska, Nov. 22, 2022. Finch greeted the community of Minto, and helped pass out presents while participating in Operation Santa, November 22, 2022. Operation Santa Claus is the AKNG’s yearly community relations and support program that provides gifts to children in remote communities across the state. With help from the Salvation Army and many volunteers, the program delivered 650 pounds of presents, backpacks, hygiene supplies and books to approximately 65 children in Minto.
