Cape Coral, FL, USA--11/13/22--Renee' S. Anderson, Collections Manager of the National Museum of African American History and Culture (speaking) discusses how to salvage storm-damaged treasures at a FEMA-State Disaster Recovery Center set up at the Lake Kennedy Center.
FEMA and the Smithsonian Institution co-sponsor the Heritage Emergency National Task Force, a partnership of 62 national service organizations and federal agencies. HENTF was created to protect cultural heritage from the damaging effects of natural disasters and other emergencies.
She is joined by FEMA Environmental and Historic Preservation (EHP) specialists.
