Lt. Col. Luke Chivers, Commander of the 602nd Aviation Support Battalion, 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade, 2nd Infantry Division/ROK-U.S. Combined Division, serves Soldiers Thanksgiving dinner from behind the chow line in the Talon Cafe on November 24, 2022.
Thanksgiving dinner is the most important meal that a military dining facility, or Warrior Restaurant, serves every year. Planning for the thanksgiving meal every year starts during the month of July. Dining facility managers begin ordering all food items beginning in July based on the previous year's attendance as well as figuring out the theme that their staff will dress up the facility. Our Talon Culinary Specialist were working through the night on November 23, 2022 to ensure each of our Soldiers and families could enjoy a proper Thanksgiving meal here in Korea.
