For decades, Fort Bliss Solders have been welcomed to help lead the annual El Paso event — an unofficial start to the Sun Bowl season in the Sun City, leading up to the Dec. 30 college football bowl game. The Sun Bowl parade attracts more than 200,000 guests to El Paso every year.
