Capt. Nicholas McLellan accepted responsibility from Capt. Shannon Snively, during a change of command ceremony for Charlie Battery, 1st Battalion, 103rd Field Artillery Regiment at the N.H. Army National Guard Armory in Lebanon, N.H., on Nov 5.
As commander, McLellan will oversee fire control specialists, cannon crew members, personnel, logistics specialists, medical and communication specialists. Prepared to respond during domestic emergencies, the Battalion is trained and equipped to handle mass decontamination in the case of nuclear, biological, or chemical incidents.
