A USAG Humphreys elementary school student gives a thumbs up as he dons aviation life saving equipment and flight helmet during the 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade family day.
The 2nd Combat Aviation Brigade held a family day event on May 27-28, 2022 allowing family members throughout the brigade to get a hands on experience with the aircraft that their spouses work with daily. The children were able to sit in the cockpits of AH-64E, UH-60M and CH-47F aircraft as well as try on the flight gear that the aviators wear to fly those aircraft. Permission for release of the student was provided by USAG Humphrey's Central Elementary School.
