PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 25, 2022) – Aviation Ordnanceman Airman Nadreia Lewis Grabe, right, and U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Courtney Sharbaugh, an ammunition technician assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 13, 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, gather tools to conduct maintenance aboard amphibious assault ship USS Makin Island (LHD 8), Nov. 25, 2022. The Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and the 13th MEU operate together as a highly relevant force with flexibility to respond to global instability and enable maximum freedom of action with the least amount of risk. The Makin Island ARG, comprised of amphibious assault ship Makin Island and amphibious transport docks USS Anchorage (LPD 23) and USS John P.
