The North Carolina National Guard's first Black female helicopter pilot, Capt. Lindsey Jefferies Jones meets Lt. Col. (retired) Marcy (Hayes) NG, the first African American female pilot in the Armed Forces on Nov.28 Capt. Jones, who has been with the National Guard for 17 years, completed her last flight with the 449th Combat Aviation Brigade on Dec. 1.
