Lucas Notini, a squad leader with Charlie Company, 3rd Battalion, 172nd Infantry Regiment (Mountain), assists students Emma Mckeage and Lexi Russell from Colebrook High School with taste testing food during the regional 2022 Meals-Ready-to-Eat (MRE) Challenge held at Kennett High School, in North Conway, NH, Dec. 1, 2022.
Colebrook High School won first place and will progress to compete against the winners from other regions in January 2023. The annual culinary competition, cosponsored by the New Hampshire Army National Guard and the New Hampshire Department of Education, challenges students to work together while providing real life experience.
