Jeremy Knippel, volunteer, makes kettle corn over a campfire during the 9th annual Light Up the Dam celebration at the Cross Lake Dam and Recreation Area in Crosslake, Minnesota, Dec. 3. The annual event is a partnership effort that includes the Crosslake Chamber of Commerce, Light Up the Dam committee, PAL Foundation, Crosslake-Ideal Lions Club, city of Crosslake and USACE staff. The event included crafts, kettle corn made over a campfire and a visit from Santa Claus.
