A U.S. Navy landing craft air cushion (LCAC) with Assault Craft Unit 4, transports a high mobility multipurpose wheeled vehicle during a training exercise with 2d Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion, 2d Marine Division, on Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Dec. 6, 2022. The main purpose of an LCAC is to transport weapons systems, equipment, cargo and personnel of the assault elements of the Marine Air-Ground Task Force from ship-to-shore and across the beach.
