U.S. Soldiers and Airmen with the Pennsylvania National Guard joined partners with the Lithuania Armed Forces Dec. 4-8 to begin planning for Engineer Thunder 2023, an upcoming exercise between the PA NG and Lithuanian army engineers. Engineer Thunder is the largest annual bilateral exercise between the Pennsylvania National Guard and Lithuania Armed Forces. The exercise aims to promote cooperation and interoperability, especially of engineer assets, between the PA NG, Lithuania and NATO allies.
In 2023, the PA NG and Lithuania Armed Forces will celebrate the 30th anniversary of their partnership under the National Guard Bureau’s State Partnership Program.
