    NAS JRB Fort Worth, Texas (Dec. 7, 2022) Naval Air Station (NAS) Joint Reserve Base (JRB) Fort Worth Junior Enlisted Association led a Pearl Harbor remembrance ceremony at the installation’s chapel. World War II survivors Staff Sergeant Bill McIntire, Yeoman 3rd Class Al Chatwin, Petty Officer 3rd Class Derrick South and Petty Officer 2nd Class Jack Stowe were in attendance. On the morning of December 7, 1941, Japan attacked US Naval Base Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The surprise attack by some 350 Japanese aircraft sunk or badly damaged 18 US naval vessels, including eight battleships, destroyed or damaged 300 US aircraft, and killed 2,403 men (U.S. Navy photos by Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Jose R.
