U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Regiment 37, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, conduct a casualty evacuation drill during a live fire range in the Central Training Area, Camp Hansen, Okinawa, Japan, Dec. 8, 2022. The purpose of the range was to improve the Marines’ ability to operate the M240B medium machine gun by firing at targets with unknown distances and perform remedial actions. 3rd MLG, based out of Okinawa, Japan, is a forward-deployed combat unit that serves as III Marine Expeditionary Force's comprehensive logistics and combat service support backbone for operations throughout the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
