YOKOSUKA, Japan (Dec. 9, 2022) – Sailors aboard U.S. 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19) monitor the removal of the brow during a sea and anchor evolution, Dec. 9, 2022. The ship has successfully completed an 18-month-long Selected Restricted Availability (SRA) receiving various upgrades and repairs that enhanced the ship’s lifecycle and maintain her operational readiness. Blue Ridge is the oldest operational ship in the Navy and, as 7th Fleet command ship, actively works to foster relationships with allies and partners in the Indo-Pacific region.
