Founded in 1947 by Maj. Bill Hendricks, United States Marine Corps Reserve (USMCR), Toys for Tots is a program run by the USMCR where Marine Reserve Centers collect new, unwrapped toys and distribute those toys to less fortunate children throughout the country during the holiday season.
