U.S. Marines with Marine Light Attack Helicopter Squadron (HMLA) 169, Marine Aircraft Group 39, 3rd Marine Aircraft Wing (MAW), ensure an AGM-179 Joint Air-to-Ground Missile (JAGM) is properly attached to a weapons rail of an AH-1Z Viper with HMLA-169 on Marine Corps Air Station Camp Pendleton, California, Dec. 13, 2022. The JAGM is a precision-guided munition for use against high value stationary, moving, and relocatable land and maritime targets.
