A Spanish Navy sailor assigned to the Santa Maria-class frigate ESPS Santa Maria (F81) manages procedures on the bridge while operating at the Port De Djibouti, Djibouti, Dec. 2, 2022, in preparation for exercise Bull Shark. Exercise Bull Shark is a personnel recovery exercise involving members of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa, U.S. Navy, Spanish Navy, Spanish Special Operations Maritime Task Unit and the Djiboutian Coast Guard aimed to strengthen interoperability between like-minded partners in the region.
