U.S. Marine Corps Pfc. Sydney E. Glover, a native of Atlanta, Georgia, graduates as the honor graduate for Platoon 4055, Oscar Company, 4th Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, South Carolina, Dec. 21, 2022. Glover earned this distinction over 13 weeks of training by outperforming other recruits in her platoon during a series of training events designed to test their basic Marine Corps skills.
