U.S. Air Force Master Sgt. Christopher Bishop, a boom operator assigned to the Maine National Guard’s 101st Air Refueling Wing, refuels a U.S. Air Force F-16 Fighting Falcon, assigned to the Ohio National Guard’s 180th Fighter Wing, from a KC-135 Stratotanker, assigned to the 101ARW, on their way to Naval Air Station Key West, Fla., Oct. 29, 2022. The 180FW deployed to NAS Key West to train with VFC-111, the Navy's premier adversary squadron, providing realistic training scenarios that ensure the 180FW is prepared for homeland defense and contingency operations around the globe. The 101ARW flies the KC-135 Stratotanker, with a mission to provide aerial refueling capabilities to U.S. and allied aviation units.
