A U.S. Marine Corps MV-22 Osprey crewchief, assigned to Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 266 (VMM 266) prepare an MV-22 for flight, on Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti, Nov. 11, 2022 for Partner Appreciation Day 2022. The ceremony represented the international participants’ collective commitment to stability and security in the Horn of Africa, highlighted Djibouti as a leading security partner in the region and exercised the U.S. ability to operate in and through a variety of airspaces. The Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa’s Partner Appreciation Day event hosted approximately 200 guests and senior leaders representing Djibouti, France, South Korea, U.K., Spain, Japan, Italy and the U.S. who came together to witness fly overs from U.S. and partner aircraft and participate in a variety of interactive and static displays.
