Claire Jefferson-Glipa, director of diversity and inclusion with the Girl Scouts of San Gorgonio Council in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, played an instrumental role behind the launch of GenCyber week at California State University, San Bernardino on June 13-17. The Girl Scouts partnered with the school’s Cybersecurity Center to help teach how to tackle hacking and cybercrime. As part of the event, four Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division engineers mentored young girls and women on careers in the cybersecurity field.
